Scanlan & Theodore sponsor artist Daan Roosegaard for Sydney Biennale
Scanlan & Theodore, in partnership with the 18th Biennale of Sydney, have sponsored a large-scale installation by renowned Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde inside the ‘Dogleg Tunnel’ on Cockatoo Island.
Created especially for Scanlan & Theodore, and to complement his installation, Roosegaard has also made a short film entitled ‘DuneX’.
The visually stimulating film allows those who cannot attend the Sydney-based exhibition to experience his ‘Alice in Technoland’ aesthetic. “It’s all about creating techno-poetry” says Roosegaard.
Experience Daan’s installation at Cockatoo Island’s Dogleg Tunnel during the 18th Biennale of Sydney (28 June – 16 September). The film can also be viewed here dunex.html and in store at selected Scanlan & Theodore boutiques in Melbourne and Sydney.
