Topman Design delivered a western-themed spring/summer 2014 collection as part of London Men’s Fashion Week. Nashville collides head on with the future bringing to the catwalk beautiful silk Western shirts in rich colours and monochrome paired with loose pants constructed of techno fabrics and coated cottons.

Together they create a soft, billowy silhouette. Each shirt is delicately hand embroidered with intricate flowers – but on closer look take a more sinister turn – beauty destroyed with scratch stitching and spiders inspired by 1950′s B movies.

Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel launched their new weddings and special events space, the Sunset Room with a salon-style bridal presentation by Australian fashion design luminary, Collette Dinnigan. The recently completed Sunset Room is the latest addition to Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, an exciting revamped addition to Sydney’s harbour front.

My Kitchen Rules star chef Pete Evans will head up catering and bespoke events for the venue, with a modern Australian menu to form the ideal accompaniment to the quintessentially Australian setting.

The hotel’s wedding showcase was held on the 25 & 26 May with partners including; Collette Dinnigan bridal, Confection Pantry, Blumenthal Photography, Ladurée Sydney, Kavelle Flowers, Décor of Distinction, Ion Events, Kombi Celebrations, Willowlane Stationery, The Britstop, Silver Lining, Sydney Wedding DJs, Harp Music & Latitude Charters. Belgium model Hanne Gaby Odiele shot an exclusive campaign for JASU in Sydney last month while she was in town for MBFWA.

The series of eight images, shot By Georges Antoni, showcase designs by JASU Australian designers including Rebecca Vallance, Dion Lee, Romance Was Born, Ginger and Smart and Ellery. The collections are now live and available for purchase on JASU.com.

The Belgium model is currently ranked #34 on models.com. As you no doubt know, she has shot seasonal campaigns for the likes of Kenzo, Moschino, Alberta Ferreti, Balenciaga, Jil Sander and Mulberry. She has walked for a plethora of designers during the international show circuit including Giambattista Valli, Valentino, Saint Laurent Paris, Nina Ricci, Balenciaga, Versace and Prada.

Megan Park Tomorrows Foundation Charity Books

Megan Park has collaborated with the former students of Tomorrows Foundation – a non-government organistion working with the street children of Kolkata, India to create a selection of beautiful, hand-crafted notebooks.

All proceeds from the sale of the books will be directed to Tomorrows Foundation.

The charity holds a close affinity with Megan’s heart, having supported the organisation for the past 15 years and becoming closely acquainted with those who lead the foundation.
